According to Nissan’s statement the japanese manufacturer has plans to become a global leader in affordable electric vehicles. The Nissan Motor Company has already announced plans to sell an electric car in the US and Japan by 2010 which will have a unique bodystyle and is not based on any existing Nissan model.
